TRY OUT DATES NOW POSTED!

Attached is the try out schedule for all representative teams including starting dates for the female peewee, bantam and midget teams.   If you are a non-resident coming to tryout you DO NOT need to pre-register with CMH.  Once you make the team, you will be charged the August registration fee.
 
There is a $25.00 try out fee for all rep teams except the following teams which are $75.00:  Midget AA, Bantam AAA and Minor Midget.  Fees are to be paid at the time of tryout registration.  You only pay one tryout fee for the same division i.e. start at Bantam AAA and if you go to Bantam AA you do not pay again all the way down to the Bantam A team.
 
Please show up one hour prior to the first tryout times for all teams except the female teams.  Elite teams will have initial times posted if they differ from the one hour. 
 

Paperwork for all non-resident / import players must be present at time of tryout or YOU DO NOT go on the ice.  (Notice to Try Out Form for all elite teams and Permission to Try Out Form for any of the AA teams).  If you have been released from an association already, you must bring that release with you. 

 

MIDGET AA   

 

Registration starts @ 6:15 p.m.  Saturday, September 11 at Border Paving.  You can pre-register at Hockey Plus.  

 

BANTAM AAA  

 

Registration starts @ 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 07 - Lobby of the Edgeworth Centre.  Cheques can be made out to Camrose Bantam AAA for the $75.00 tryout fee.  Players will be going on the ice at 8:15 pm.

HITTING CLINIC FOR FIRST YEAR PEEWEE PLAYERS

 

Paul King and players from the Augustana Vikings Hockey team will be hosting a mandatory hitting clinic for all first year peewee players on Wednesday, September 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Encana Rink.  Any second year player that could use a refresher is welcome to attend.   No registration is necessary, just show up!  Full gear is required as players will be going on the ice.
 

 

REFEREE CLINIC

 
Anyone wanting to become a referee or needing to refresh their training skills will need to go to the Hockey Alberta website and register for the two day clinic being held in Camrose on September 25th and 26th.    
Go to the Hockey Alberta website (www.hockeyalberta.ca) , hit the Clinic tabs and scroll to, dates and locations and then to "officating".  If you have played hockey you need to contact your Minor Hockey Association to obtain your hockey ID number in order to register (person who does the registration of players).

Step 1.  First go into your profile to check all your personal information to make sure it is correct.  If it is not correct, you are to make all corrections and then save the information.
Step 2.  Then go into “Clinic Signup” and pick a clinic to attend and sign up.
Step 3.  Lastly, go into “Start a Course” and do all the modules making sure that you read all the pages.  Once you the official has completed all the modules, you will be required to print out a certificate to bring to the clinic when you attend to show the instructor you have completed the online portion of the eLearning.
