CMHA EQUIPMENT INFORMATION 2008-2009

Equipment belonging to CMHA will be placed in the care and custody of the Head Coach at the beginning of the year. The Coach shall be held responsible for this equipment and will be asked to account for it at the end of the season.

All Coaches are required to:

Submit a $100 dollar deposit to CMHA upon receipt of team jerseys and associated equipment.
Attend jersey/equipment return night April 15, 2009. Deposits will be returned at that time.

All teams are required to:

Use game jerseys for games only, not practices.
During the year, team management shall keep the jerseys and socks clean and mended at the cost of the team.
When equipment supplied by the CMHA is lost or damaged, the management MUST report the incident to the Equipment Committee immediately.
Following the last game of the year game jerseys are to be returned; clean and hung numerically in the jersey room.
CMHA equipment shall be used only for CMHA functions.

Team socks:

CMHA will supply one pair of team socks to each player. These socks are the players to keep. Players are encouraged to use the new socks for games only and use socks they have received in previous years for practices.

First aid kits:

All teams are required to have first aid kits (not supplied by CMHA)

Goalie Equipment

CMHA supplies goalie equipment to all novice teams at no charge.
Goalies for other age groups can rent equipment as follows:
Typical rental period is from September to April 15. Early rental can be arranged for those attending summer hockey schools.
Equipment return night for the 2008/2009 season is April 15, 2009. Please return all equipment at that time.

Security Deposit

A security deposit will be required with all rental agreements, normally $500 in the form of a cheque. This cheque will be kept by CMHA and will not be cashed, unless required by the rental agreement due to loss of equipment, damages, etc.
